Size: 1.5 - 2.0 in.

This rubyspot is darker and slightly longer than its more common cousin.  It is currently considered uncommon to rare in the state but new sites are being found annually.  It is certainly not as numerous as American Rubyspot and tends to be found along more remote stretches of streams.
