Size: 2.8 in.

This eastern counterpart to the Blue-Eyed Darner has been recorded in only one county in the state. It is a northeastern species which would be at the western edge of its range. It flies earlier in the season than the Blue-eyed and can only be distinguished by the shape of the claspers.
