 Size: 2.2 - 3.2 in. Look for the green eyes and brown spots on the wings. However, some individuals have reduced spots as shown in this photo. This dragonfly seems to be on constant patrol around water. Common throughout the state at lakes and large ponds. Also found along the Mississippi River.
