 Size: 2.0 in. From above, this appears to just be a brown insect with bright green eyes. On further inspection you will see the brilliant yellow thoracic stripes, smaller emerald green stripes, a yellow face, and fantastic green eyes. Uncommon along streams in northwest and central Iowa. |
