 Size: 0.8 - 1.0 in. Uncommon but expected statewide around small streams, seeps, and other wetlands. The insects collected in Iowa have been intermediate between the eastern A. saucium and the western A. abbreviatum. More work is necessary to determine if ours are intergrades or perhaps a different species. |
