 Size: 1.2 - 1.3 in. A violet thorax and abdomen and a blue tail tip identify this fairly common dancer. It tends to stay closer to the water's edge and work the grasses more than other dancers. Common throughout the state along streams, marshes and at marshy edges of ponds and lakes. |
