 Size: 1.4 in. Forehead is blue or green. Extremely rare. Recently found in the flood plain of the Cedar River in Muscatine County and around old oxbows of the Chariton River in Wayne and Lucas Counties. This meadowhawk prefers more shaded and wooded areas than some of the other species. |
