Size: 1.3 in.

Uncommon to common statewide in marshes, wetlands, and wet ditches. This dragonfly is very similar to the Band-winged Meadowhawk of the east (which some consider to be the same species) and can be distinguished by using a hand lens to examine the structure of the claspers and secondary genitalia.
